Ethel Wane

Ethel Wane was born in Douglas, Isle of Man, the daughter of the Liverpool landscape artist Richard Wane. She lived in
Egremont, Wirral and later at New Brighton, Wallasey, Cheshire. She exhibited at the Dudley Gallery, London and at a
number of venues in the Midlands and north of England, including 47 works at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool and 14 works
at the Royal Cambrian Academy.
