David Woodford RCA
1938

David Woodford was born in 1938, the son of a Shropshire parson. He has lived in Snowdonia since 1968. Woodford studied at Worthing and Leeds and after a few years as a teacher of art, went on to become a mature student at Royal Academy Schools. He can still be found painting the mountains of Snowdonia, close to his home.
