Samuel Towers RA, RCA.
1862 - 1943

Samuel Towers was a British visual artist who was born in Bolton, Lancs. A tailor by proffession. He trained at Bolton College
of Art and later abandonedtailoring to become a full-time artist.
He was one of the original members of Bolton Art Club and exhibited at its first exhibition in 1882. He also became a member
of the Royal Cambrian Academy.
