I grew up in Beaumaris, spending most of my adult life living on Anglesey. I moved to Rhos on Sea in 2004, where I have
settled with my two daughters.

Following a period of sickness I decided to make a few changes to my life, I left my job to return to full time education,
completing a Foundation degree in photography at Llandrillo College, going on to graduate in Fine Art & Photography at
Chester University in 2016

As a student I preferred the process of analogue photography enjoying the darkroom more than the digital camera. This
interest introduced me to the alternative process of cyanotypes which produces the characteristic cyan blue prints. I have
been experimenting with the process, using foliage from my garden to create photograms on either dry or wet chemicals
producing a variety of effects. The nature of the process means each print is unique with its own distinct markings.
