Frederick J Knowles
1874 - 1931

A landscape and figurative painter. Born in Manchester but later moved to Oswestry, Shropshire. He studied at The
Cavendish School of Art.
He exhibited at the RA, the Walker Art Gallery, the Manchester City Art Gallery and the Royal Cambrian Academy. He was a
member of The North British Academy.
