Born in Colchester, Essex.
Specialised in painting landscapes in oil and watercolour, in North Wales, and usually the Deganwy area.
Exhibited at The Royal Academy and The Royal Cambrian Academy.
Examples of his work can be found in The Victoria and Albert Museum.
